AutoParts Connect approached us to create a specialized marketplace for car spare parts that would connect suppliers, mechanics, and car owners across East Africa. The automotive aftermarket industry in the region was fragmented, with buyers struggling to find genuine parts and suppliers lacking efficient distribution channels.
We developed a comprehensive marketplace with advanced inventory management, supplier onboarding workflows, and sophisticated search/filter functionality. The platform includes real-time stock tracking, multiple supplier integration, and secure payment processing.
Our team built a robust marketplace using React.js for the frontend, Node.js with Express for the backend API, and PostgreSQL for data management. We implemented Redis for caching frequently accessed parts data and Elasticsearch for the advanced search functionality. The platform features automated supplier verification, real-time inventory updates, and intelligent part compatibility matching.
